A beautiful film, melodramatic like most big Chinese pictures. Some nice action.

Strong film. First Korean film Ive seen. Deserves some recognition. Many Americans know Zhang Ziyi because of "Crouching Tiger" and "Rush Hour 2". However if you want to see her true acting chops then watch this movie. She is excellent as well as the two the two actors who act as her characters bodyguards.

Like many have said here, melodramatic and maybe stretched a bit too long. But, all in all, a good movie with some good battle scenes and strong characterization.
