It's very mysterious, ultimately perhaps a bit too much to wholly work for me (the final twenty minutes or so were a bit unsatisfying), but for most of its runtime it makes for a very moody, gripping film. I really loved both Kristin Scott Thomas and Ethan Hawke in this.

Mysterious stuff. Felt a little like a Murakami novel or something.
Awesome job by Kristin Scott Thomas! Pun intended.
Weird how few people like this one. Considering its awesomeness. :o

Interesting but seemed to be missing all sorts of details that would have made it more understandable and more enjoyable. Worth a look still.

A strange one this, a sort of arty psychological thriller/mystery. Hawke kind of grew on me, it turns out he has the perfect combination of vulnerability and menace for this role. It's got a strong atmosphere and absolutely terrific photography, but somehow failed to really speak to me (and I love things like this).
