When it comes to road head the greatest danger is still speed bumps, but this is a close second.

Maybe the only movie where the plot is set in motion by Robocop getting a blowjob.

Not a great movie, and not even one of Stephen King's best stories. But there was a grimy charm to this movie that allowed me to enjoy it on a certain level. Still pretty crappy though.

All I remember about this movie: Gypsies. Something about pie.

This was mailed in. It wasn't horrible by any stretch, but after reading the book, I know they could have at least done a little better than this.

A gypsy curses an asshole wearing a bad fat suit to thankfully shed said fat suit. Unfortunately also curses two others to their own deaths by bad make up effects.

Was the book any good? Because the film isn't.

Holy molly what crap!

Thin (no pun!) Tales From The Crypt style premise stretched to feature length, Holland does the best he can with flimsy material, rightly emphasising the black comic aspects of the story, but it suffers from a lack of tonal surety, as if nobody really knew how to approach it. Burke keeps it watchable during its rough patches, and there are a few moments of genuine gallows humour that hit the spot. Shame there weren't more of them.

Not sure why this one got such rough reviews. Good Stephen King thriller and some great make up.

A real interesting and wicked story which is made into a valiant attempt here. If only it were made a few notches better it would have really been good. Really enjoyed Wuhrer's short performance, she plays a gypsy real well.

Has some mean charm.

Too bad the book was so hard to live up to. This should have been great. It was nice to see what Robocop was up to though.

Straight to TV-horror romp about a fat man cursed by a gypsy. It's okay, but yeah, has that tv-feeling.

Laughably adaptation of one of King's lesser works. There's really no reason to ever voluntarily submit to watching this movie.

Bad acting, script, plot, nothing redeemable at all

It's lows like this that make me constantly incredulous to King's highs....

Mostly unremarkable. The fat makeup isn't the least bit convincing, but the thin makeup is, and so the movie manages to bounce back and forth between hammy performances and mildly icky effects fast enough to carry the viewer along to the end.

Passes the time.

Simple morality tale goes full schlock in the third act.

I have a soft spot for King adaptions and this one was eery at times. Wouldn't recommend it if you're not a fan though. I suppose nostalgia also weighs into my vote
