Summary: Mohanachandran (Jayaram), although a lawyer by profession, does all sorts of odd jobs to support his large-sized family. He is engaged to marry Sujatha (Sukanya), a local school teacher. Devaprabha (Manju Warrier) and her grandfather Ramavarma Thampuran (Babu Swamy), of the royal bloodline and who has a mansion in the same village, comes for a short visit. Devaprabha, who has been mentally ill after her brother's death, finds solace in Mohanachandran, which troubles his fiancée Sujatha. (by iceblox)
