Summary: Jayakrishnan (Mohanlal), who led a double life as a stingy farmer in his village & as a lucullan quasi-hero amongst his friends in Trichur town, seeks solace in Clara (Sumalatha), an aspiring sex-worker, after being snubbed by the first girl to whom he took a fancy to - Radha (Parvathi). After learning that he took Clara's virginity, Jayakrishnan offers to marry her, but Clara disappears.
