For some reason, I love this movie and saw it many times. It was probably seeing Timothy Dalton in a somewhat comedic role. I wish he had more roles like this.

One of the many family comedies that got the "family" part down real well, but totally forgot about the "comedy" half. Predictability is fine, but at least write some interesting characters, and think up of some amusing scenes. Alas, you won't find them here.
