Summary: Dunne is the mayor of a small Town in Vermont. Boyer is a famous sculptor from the big-city who has been hired to create a stature in the memory of Dunne’s late 'sainted' husband. After some hesitation on the part of Dunne, the two fall in love, however there is much gossip from well meaning relatives. Dunne’s daughter has been mistaken in thinking Boyer has eyes for her.
