It really takes a different road than the one presented in the book, but it still serves as a great adventure story. One of the movies that made me interested in exploring the woods and searchinf for treasure. Memories!

I loved it when I was a kid, I can't help but think that with a keener eye for bad acting and a bad plot though I'd feel the same way now though.

JTT (Jonathon Taylor Thomas to you) makes a pretty sucky Tom Sawyer and Brad Renfro kinda sucks as Huck. Put them together and you get Suck and Suck. Now try to say "sucks as Huck" 10 times fast.
