If someone gave me a few million dollars to throw together the lamest piece of cinema I could muster up, it would look something like Tomcats.

This is it. The nadir. The lowest of the low. A hole dug at the bottom of a pit in the middle of a garbage dump. It is the worst film I have ever seen: a sack of irradiated shit completely without merit, and unscathed by anything that even vaguely resembles a redeeming feature.

Beyond stupid. Jerry O'Connell will always be the fat kid from Stand By Me.

For some reason, I like 'Tomcats' a lot more than it deserves. The story is unoriginal. The gags are mostly gross-out humor, most of which we've seen before. There's nothing redeming about any of the characters, who are a bunch of chauvinistic pigs who risk everything to win a bet. It's like 'She's All That' without any of the heart. For some reason, I'm willing to buy into Jerry O' Connell's Michael. Everything he does is reprehensible, yet you like him anyway because he smiles it all off.

The t-shirt that Jerry O'Connell wears is pretty funny (The Man/The Legend), but that's about it.

I finished it. That's about the only thing positive I can say about the film.

A comedy positioned outside the normal range of human response.

Notoriously poor-taste post-PIE raunch comedy is more leaden than offensive, hammering home its gags with the bluntness of a hatchet rather than attempting to construct them in a way that might develop some comic momentum - the performers are fine, and there are some amusing ideas (bar its horrific "centerpiece" scene, whose vivid ugliness makes it difficult to... stomach? on any level), but the problem is with Poirer's screenplay and direction, and the haphazard, episodic narrative.

I think this movie tried too hard to be edgy and out there, and really, it fell on its face.

Kinda run of the mill for this style of comedy, would have earned a better rating if Shannon would have shown her 'beth parts.

More of the already exhausted "frat-boy, bro" jokes. Not even to mention not a single likable character. Seriously, who the hell is Jerry O'Connell?!

The film is shit. Skip the movie, but watch the trailer. You'll get the full effect of the film without having to watch the awkward shit that fails to tie the scenes together.

Fratboy humour without a doubt. I (shamefully) admit I did laugh a couple of times during the film but for the most part it was just bland or a gross out. I wouldn't recommend it unless you like really lowbrow gross out humour.

"Heeeeere's Grammy!" Crappy movie overall, but there are some genuinely hilarious moments in this.

Not nearly as stupid & offensive as it looked in the previews. Somehow the central character manages to give some dignity to the whole thing, pretty amazing really, considering the whole thing is so stupid. Opening animated credits feature Offspring's I Want You Bad, the animation is in keeping with the rest of the picture, stupid.

I'd never even heard of this film until eight years after its release, but despite its flaws it still hits more high notes than most teen gross-outs released in the past decade. Overly irreverant perhaps, and certainly hit-and-miss, but if you allow yourself to think of it as a live-action cartoon much of the script is worthy of your time. Better with a few beers inside you I'm sure.

Bad and yet not entirely unenjoyable. I think most reviewers seem to be forgetting the good bits, like the repo scenes, or the animal rights rally, or the awkward solicitation. Yeah it's most stupid as hell, and yeah you want to punch Kyle in the face, but the main characters are kinda fun to watch.
