Well acted and made, but the politics of this are impossible to ignore.

The most star studded forgettable film you'll ever see. It's not that I didn't learn anything. But I didn't learn anything important.

Virtually EVERY SINGLE piece of dialogue is obvious exposition or over-dramatized nonsense. I guess if you don't know what went down, it's worth watching, beyond that there is absolutely nothing here other than "wow he looks like him."

Fun to watch, but in the end, it didn't have anything all that substantial to say.

Well-acted drama dealing with the GFC of 2008, a timely and prescient topic; unfortunately film is too dry and talky, even if the information being presented is worthy and interesting. Woods stands out in a first-rate cast as a hot-headed executive; Hurt and Giamatti are also reliably great and like much of Hanson's work, the film is expert at creating a believable and realistic evocation of the world in which the characters exist.

The best film to date depicting the American Economic Crisis of 2008. A look into the failure of the world's biggest business firms and the true essence of the "Free Market" and just how "Free" it is in reality and the need for Government regulation and intervention at the time of crisis. The acting carries the film, but the script could have been better meshed together. Too much unfolded in just an hour and thirty minutes. This could have easily been a 2:15 Hour film. Overall, I'm impressed.
