Meh. Ok, I guess. Nothing amazing, nothing horrible.

A mediocre horror flick. It wasn't very scary, the plot was convoluted, and the characters weren't particularly interesting. A few decent scenes here and there, but they didn't occur frequently enough for the movie to hold my interest.

On the plus side, it has some of the frentic, hysterical energy one used to see in Hooper's films. On the other, it literally was never completed - plot strands hang without resolution and it all becomes rather confusing and senseless.

While not as bad as it could've been and not devoid of charm (the quirky characters would be infinitely better placed in a non-slasher film), it's by no means the second coming of Tobe Hooper, saddled with amateurish production values, mediocre acting and too much plot for what should be a straightforward horror movie.

Not bad. It does suffer from typical slasher problems: plot-holes that would have ended the movie before it began, annoying characters, and every single character is pretty damn stupid. Side note, the killer kind of looks like Darkman.

This movie would have been ten times better if there was no or minimal comic relief. That aspect of the film really detracts from the tone I expected from Hooper.

This was a great supernatural mystery until it went all typical slasher movie near the end. I will give it points for being well-shot and containing some neat ideas -- but ultimately this one falls flat.
