A 90 minute long and ridiculously dumb motorbike commercial that is, completely by accident, also a movie.

Wonderfully ridiculous and over-the-top "Fast & Furious" parody/rip-off oozing with early 00's cheese. On one hand, this is a trashy, derivative, gimmick action movie, but on the other, it's a self-aware, absurdly tongue-in-cheek, action movie satire. This combination makes for a pretty funny action/comedy, especially compared to a more straight forward "Fast & Furious" spoof like Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg's "Superfast!"(2015), but that comedy cancer is for another review.

So laughably over-the-top that it must be satire. And if it is, then there are flashes of brilliance here, especially the Pepsi vs. Mountain Dew motorcycle sword-fight that had me rolling on the floor laughing by the end. It probably isn't, but I really want Neuromancer to be good and am willing to tell myself just about anything to hold on to hope for it. "From the director of Torque..." doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

One of the most delightfully absurd movies ever made, perfectly straddling the line between Fast and the Furious knockoff and Fast and the Furious parody. And did I mention that it's absofuckinglutely hilarious? Seriously, this is movie magic right here. "What is it about driving cars that makes you all such assholes?"

Somewhere in this, there was a great film, a Crank of the motorcycle genre, trying to escape. The director has a great sense of the visual, whether its visual puns or a swipe at the Fast and the Furious series; even when scenes become heavily CGI there is an attempt to make its use imaginative. The problem is though that there are too many terrible compromises - bland, paper thin lead characters, a bland plot and far too much product placement to find tolerable - that deflate the film badly.

Torque walks an uneasy line between straight-up dumb action movie and a satire of that very genre, and while it doesn't really pick a side, it does the former very well and while the execution of the latter wasn't completely successful, I'm inclined to be forgiving. When most of the film is this fun, any additional thought is bonus. That Torque thinks about anything other than stunts is a bonus in and of itself. I heartily recommend this film.

Oh Ice Cube. You were so good in Three Kings. Such a shame to see you in this. Bad plot, bad cgi, bad dialog and generic storyline with nothing interesting going on. It's just riding on The Fast and the Furious' success. Don't see this unless you really like street racing films.

This is either among the greatest action parodies ever made or one of the stupidest action movies ever made, but either way I genuinely had fun watching it & would probably watch it again. Everything about it is so stupid, & the ending defies absolutely all logic, but it's still a good time. When Nickelback's "Someday" started playing over the closing shot I lost my shit. I laughed throughout the whole thing. So ridiculously dumb, but in the best of ways.

Like a piece of moss that has developed the ability to fluoresce and change its colours at random, it may grab your attention for a while as you coo at it but soon you remember its just moss and you walk away.

lol. ice cube's sushi line, the bad guy's hairdo, jaime pressly acting solely in slight variations of tongue movements, adam scott, and the proto-crank end chase. still, not quite as glorious as i'd hoped, but some good fun here. also MOUNTAIN DEW

Pretty hilarious. You have to respect the fact that the filmmakers just didn't give a shit and went balls out crazy. Then again, maybe you don't have to.

When biker Cary Ford (Martin Henderson) discovers some motorcycles filled with crystal meth, he stows them away. But it turns out that villainous gangster Henry James (Matt Schulze) has plans to recover his drugs. James frames Ford for the murder of Junior (Fredro Starr), the brother of Trey (Ice Cube), who heads the Reapers, a notoriously malicious biker gang. Ford goes on the run in an attempt to clear his name, while the FBI and multiple groups of motorcycle-mounted marauders chase after him.

This is hilarious, an over the top send up of the whole Fast and/or Furious genre that takes everything to absurd extremes for the sake of the joke. It's a shame more people didn't get the joke, maybe it needed to be a bit more obvious, but this thing is funny and that's on purpose.

At times, you think this could have been such a good movie, a weird send-up of throwing action movies and car pornography together. But the acting and writing are so flat, it doesn't really work half the time.

At first it appeared to be spectacularly awful, to the point where one could watch ironically and possibly enjoy, but that feeling wears off pretty fast and it ends up just being regular awful.
