bay's shaky camera combined with his lens preferences and ever-slowing editing style, just gave me headaches. the first half was enjoyable and LaBeouf was quite charming. but the second half starting with the sequence at his house was boring. the comic efforts by turturro's character were totally lame. and I only wished the mindblowing finale to be over ASAP. and did you also feel a lot of xenophobia going on?

Lots of explosions but the movie is supposed to be about Transformers, and I'll be damned if I can remember what any of them looked like or what most of them did for the entire movie other than follow Shia around the city and get blown up in lots of explosions.

This was the best possible Transformers movie. Yes, it was a standard Bay action film, with all the product placement, stupid jokes, and "inspiring slow motion" you've come to expect from him. But come on. The Transformers aren't based on a work of Shakespeare. They're a toy line. They were toys before they were a cartoon series. Drop your nostalgia. I had fun.

Amazing CG & special effects!!! It's The Island on steroids! Loved them as a kid and love this movie as an adult. Not really a movie for kids.

A lot of little corny parts but I liked it overall. I went into it thinking Bay would ruin it, and he tried his best, but Transformers are just too awesome to completely ruin.

Michael Bay sucks. The CG is amazing but the action was retarded. The robots would be fighting and the camera would be RIGHT in front of the robots. and you couldnt tell who was who. It was very dissapointing, but i come to expect that from Michael Bay.

Bay doesn't completely destroy my childhood. Great action film but that's what Bay is known for. Terrible character development. LaBeouf further proves himself as an actor to watch. Also please release a directors cut that completely removes sector 7.

It deserves this rating because Mann took a chance and had the cojones to produce a film that others would have scoffed and shunted aside. And then we have the special f/x. The chemistry of Shia La Beuf and Megan Fox deserves a nod as well.
