The human characters are as annoying as ever, but this time around they have less screen time, meaning it significantly improves on the second one by default. Skip the first half and just watch the Chicago battle scenes for your dose of big-budget spectacle.

the beginning gave a fast ending impression this might actually be decent, sadly I was mistaken. True, 3D has forced Micheal Bay to hold the camera still for a bit, resulting in the best action sequences of the series so far during an intense hour long city battle, but you also have to sit through two hours of garbage plot recycled from the other two films to get there.

Its alright if you don't complete the trilogy. I mean the first was better and the second was good but making one more... Is it really necessary? This one completely lacked story. And what's sad is that I predicted the whole remainder of the film when Sam and others see the confidential pictures of "drag marks" on and around the mysterious ship that crashed on the moon. BAAM! I knew who is really the bad guy and what would happen next...

Aww look, the Transformers movie is trying to have a real plot, how cute. Finally, after three fucking movies some of the mindsuckingly boring and needlessly drawn out action was mildly entertaining. The most notable improvement here is the lack of Orci/Kurtzman and their trademark "humor". That's not to say it was even remotely funny, but literally anything is better than those two hacks. None of these festering shit piles needed to be two and a half hours long.

This third film was what I liked most of the three films, although still not great. Visually it's incredible, but the story, despite the good start, it's kinda messy. The result is a decent and unpretentious action movie for kids, but that does not go beyond that.

All the shots where it's robots vs robots get 80 (excellent interaction between CGI and physical landscape). All the shots with John Turturro get 40. All the shots where any other humans are talking get 0. If they cut the entire human cast except 7000 extras plus found footage from 1960s NASA and just had the entire film about the bots this film could have been something special. Unfortunately shitty writing and cast once again wreck an otherwise strong science fiction premise.

Michael Bay's ultimate masturbatory template. Childish (I cannot stress this word enough!) throughout, Transformers 3 is the perverted endeavor of bringing the dimwitted math-class backseat-scribblings of a 12-year douche to life on the big screen. That's no mean feat, I'll give it that. And a big fuck you to the "it's just entertainment, chill duuude" crowd. Choke on those words! There's nothing cool here, nothing admirable, no spectacle, no emotion. It's a big, dumb and lifeless cheesy mess.

Due to some of the money being allocated to shove some talent in the supporting cast, this is the best of the movies. But it's still Michael Bay, and the final act is still mind-numbingly dumb, so it's still basically the same movie as the rest.

How it is possible that Bay and Krueger -- with a budget of $195 million and a plot that not only allows for but actually necessitates giant robots -- managed to make a film this dull is forever likely to remain a mystery. Mindless, senseless, plotless, jingoistic pablum in every sense, the only thing worse than Krueger's painful script is Huntington-Whiteley's attempt at acting. Truly one of the worst films ever made.

It's not getting a zero simply because there were a few mildy amusing scenes (two?) however, they couldn't even give us some T&A to appreciate; they had a friggin' Victoria's Secret model and they couldn't even get a padded bra so she'd like she had some cleavage in the side shots? I suppose it's the perfect movie for people with very bad attention spans; being able to concentrate on this rather long movie does not actually help to understand what is happening, but there is constant movement.

Probably the best of the three Transformers films, although that's not saying much now is it? Shia Lebouf is still not believable as an action star, and most of the human characters (including high-level government officials and CEOs) are still buffoons, but at least the film shies away more from the sophomoric, tedious humor that the first two wasted so much time on (the parents are largely absent, a godsend). The sole redeeming factor is, again, the wildly entertaining action scenes.
