Good production and great music, but a very childish film for better or worse. Some jokes, but everything is pretty old hat and harmless (except for the gore scenes, but you know what I mean).

The fake trailers at the start are a warning shot, as the movies completely misses three very easy targets in a row. Some mildly amusing ideas pop up once in a while, but there is not a single clever moment. Eventually, the attempts at jokes get buried under the effects and the movie becomes what it tries to satirize.

I really didnt expect much from this movie. I was really surprised that it was a bit hilarious. Its a parody on a few movies, actors, directors and Hollywood in general. It does make you laugh, there isnt any moment of this movie when you think "oh god why am i here?". I would say its pretty decent comedy that one can watch.

A huge surprise, and the best comedy of the year so far. the jokes and gags are fresh, and Downey Jr. is awesome ( But what else would you expect from him? ). Tom Cruise is hilarious in it too, which I didn't expect at all!

Much more enjoyable than it should be. The humor is repetitive and stupid, but it's just the right kind of stupid that makes it enjoyable. Downey Jr deserves praise for taking a role that could easily have killed the film and making it the centerpiece.

This movie had the potential to be a total disaster, a flop maybe, but everything seemed to click so well. I couldn't believe the star power that this movie had, even for just a line or two. I normally don't care for Tom Cruise, but he had me laughing so hard. Jack Black was kind of a weak link, but he still had some good lines himself. Overall, this was really a fun movie to watch, really worth the time.

this was a damn good movie.. RDJ is a legend throughout and well for Tom Cruise .. that made the film haha! Could have been better in some parts but overall a good watch!

this was a hit and miss, some parts were hilarious and shows alot of trueism in hollywood today. Robert Downey jr. is just a great actor and just getting better with age. tho once again i have been impressed with tom cruise ever scense he went in the closet with scientology :/
