Ah, blaxploitation...the only film genre where grown hetero men can constantly refer to each other as "baby" with a straight face. Robert Hooks stars as Mr. T, an LA hustler who gets framed for murder after getting mixed up in a dispute between rival mobsters. It's a clever story peppered with tough talk and gritty violence, and a smooth-as-butter soundtrack courtesy of Marvin Gaye. Dig it.

Found this blaxploitation gem in a book i been reading about the genre. Enjoyed this film. Lots of action and fantastic dialogue and impressive wardobe and art direction.

Mr. T is so cool.

It's like a black James Bond Godfather Scarface all rolled into a grindhouse flick.
