Summary: Arun (Indrajith) & his 2 relations Mahindran (Manoj K. Jayan) & Ganeshan (Shammi), injects Ashwathy (Bhavana), key witness to a murder & lawyer Ramesh Nambiar's (Mammootty) sister, with morphia & rapes her. Karthik (Dileep), Ashwathy's lover & Devan's (Mohanlal) brother, tries to catch them but gets killed. Antony Punnekadan IPS (Suresh Gopi), in charge of the case, arrests Arun but is saved by Ramesh, unaware of what Arun did to his sister. An enraged Devan tries to avenge his brother's death.
