I cannot in good conscience raise this score any higher [despite the presence of Price and a well done third entry]. The second story is really miserable and brings things down too much. Actually, all three stories have some ridiculous aspect but it's just too much in the middle.

Surprisingly sophisticated in both its simplicity and its narrative. Although this really only applies to the first two tales, the third tale is a rather standard mediocre ghost story, but the first two are very interesting takes on the macabre.

Longer than it should be, but worth a watch for Vincent Price fans.
