It's a peculiar film, and I'm not sure the film's even aware of it. I also understand the casting and script is probably quite insulting to New Zealanders. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the film immensely as a quirky, interesting experience. I went through a range of emotions and was put to thinking, too. Just don't take it too seriously.
