Summary: Malavika (Ambika) of the Udayapuram palace elopes with Abdul Rahman (Captain Raju) of the Arackal family, causing enmity between the two families. Years later, when proposals for Gopika Varma (Preetha Vijaykumar) of Udayapuram gets repeatedly impeded & it was decided to conduct a religious rite to rid Udayapuram of the string of bad luck it's been having, Malavika's son Sulaiman (Dileep) comes to Udayapuram palace, posing as Unnikrishnan Nampoothiri, to helm the rite & falls in love with Gopika.
