If you have absolutely no interest in watching this movie, you HAVE to atleast see the ending with the aliens. They have one of the best conversations ever. =D

Gore Galore! This was a decent zombie movie. The story was horrible, probably the craziest plot in a movie I've ever seen. If you enjoy gore and bloody violence, turn your brain off and watch this mindless, insane horror flick.

Has some good bits among many dull scenes. Worth a look if you're into the zombie genre.

This movie attempts to succeed at the "so bad it's good" angle and fails miserably. It tries the 'wink wink, nudge nudge" approach ala Evil Dead II or Dead Alive, but completely lacks the creativity, originality and fun energy that make those films work so well. Its attempts to fit into that mold are so transparent that it just comes across as desperate and pathetic. I wanted to like this movie, I really did. Mark this one as a big disappointment.

Undead is a film that needed more polish. It needed to fix its constantly flickering tone, and it also needed to have better characters. These films are about the survivors, but when I'm wanting them to be eaten or abducted, just so that there's a possibility that someone more interesting will replace them, something went wrong. But it's still an intermittently entertaining film with a really solid ending, so if you need another B-movie zombie film to watch, you could do worse than this one.

Not really horror, but hilarious.

I'm on the fence about this one. It was OK, and there's a ton of movies I would watch in the zombie genre prior to this...but on the other hand, I don't have much to say about it negatively when you see all the garbage put out in the horror genre every other day. It's worth a look.

Certainly one of the more original horror movies out there. In fact it mixes a good chunk of sci-fi and humor in with it. You'll get some decent zombie kills and some cool effects. The acting isn't necessarily "bad" but it is kind of cheesy. It's probably not going to be anybodies favorite zombie flick, but it ranks above most of the crap that gets put out every year.

B-rated horror at its best. New-school cinematics mask this old-school horror, which isn't necessarily the best option, but it works for this one. Any fan of cheesey horror and comedy will enjoy this zombie-apocalypse view into the future.

A comedy in disguise

The story and the gore effects were decent but the acting and CGI could use some work. Promotional material was a bit misleading - I wasn't aniticpating comedic elements.

Some memorable bits but overall a bit too cheesy. Maybe I just didn't get the joke...?

This is the classic case of so bad it's good to watch with your friends and make fun of. Of course I'm sure this was the intention of the movies' creators, as it really doesn't attempt to take itself seriously. The acting is pretty atrocious and the dialog isn't good by any means, although there are a handful of funny lines . To be honest I can see the Spierig brothers making a decent action flick in the future, so long as someone else pens the script and they get a decent budget/actors.

This was an alright zombie flick. The back story was a little bit lame, but still something to watch for another undead fix.

Actually a pretty decent zombie movie. Once I realized that it was satirical, it became very funny.

Initially interesting, this psudo-zombie flick quickly begins to meander into strange territory that features an interesting payoff, but doesn't play quite as well as you would hope. Definitely fine work for a small Austrailian film, but certain aspects (like certain fanboyish action affectations) nag at your ability to watch and enjoy it.

A classic case of an amatuer writer with a great concept but inability to close the story. First half gets an 80, second half gets a 38.

Got a 78 mostly out of how much it wants to be my favorite movie. Zombies, guns, crazy characters, general nuttiness. Just didn't do it for me.
