Summary: Underworld: Evolution continues the saga of war between the aristocratic Death Dealers and the barbaric Lycans (werewolves). The film traces the beginnings of the ancient feud between the two tribes as the beautiful vampire heroine Selene (Beckinsale) discovers that she has been betrayed by her own kind and seeks her revenge.

Seemed like half the film was taken up with flashbacks to the first or to the past as it tried to build a mythology around its characters. What is does create is a confusing and contradictory backstory for the events in the film, making me care even less about the characters. Back to the present day, and the main story is more of the same bad action and lifeless characters of the original.

Pretty decent action movie which has a pretty interesting story. Being a trilogy this was to be expected. The Question is if they will screw it up like the Matrix. Not the best of movies but very enjoyable nonetheless.
