Fun appearance by the mighty Eddie Cochran.

I like this ridiculously improbable film because it features not only the bizarre vocals and energetic gyrations of Van Doren on such ghastly songs as "Salamander" and "Go Go Calypso," but also an appearance by Eddie Cochran as well as a marvelous machismo performance by John "Lawman" Russell as a plantation owner dressed in white with two killer black dogs for accessories. But then I really like Mamie, who is charming and pretty underneath all that forced sexiness. Decently direction by Koch.

Mst3k score: 6/10

Mystery Science Theater. A bad movie for sure, but not as bottom-of-the-barrel as most of the movies they pick. And yes, Mamie van Doren was hot
