Summary: Prakashan (Jayasurya), more interested in loafing around & dreaming of his childhood love Ponnu (Roma), rather than do any work, finally gets his wish when Ponnu's arranged marriage gets called off due to a misunderstanding involving him & finally she decides that she would marry Prakashan. However, the night of the marriage, his dreams are shattered when he is accused of rigging the mishap which caused Ponnu's first marriage to get called off, & shunned by everyone, he is forced to leave town.
