I came with low expectations but it's a pretty sweet little movie, voiced by big English names it tells the story of mail pigeons in the WW2 in almost total lack of fart jokes.

Not as offensively bad as some reviewers are making out. The 'WW2 movie with birds' was done a lot better in Chicken Run because Nick Park has always understood that the one gag wasn't enough. You have to make a movie to go with it.

Kids may be mesmerized by the animation, but many adults may start to grow a bit restless for the film to reach its conclusion, which at about an hour and 15 minutes, is thankfully not too long in coming.

Very well animated, and the idea is there, but it lacks the charm and cleverness of Pixar films. The movie relies too much on silliness instead of real jokes.
