Summary: International terrorists attempt to kidnap a wealthy couples child. Their plan comes unstuck when the boy's pet snake, a deadly Black Mamba, escapes, and the terrorists and several hostages are trapped in the boy's London home. A tense evening is had by all as the snake creeps around the house picking off the various characters one by one. (imdb)

A really silly movie that is nonetheless fun to watch until the totally mailed in ending. It's a wonder they managed to assemble such an A list cast for this. Zee snake is looze!

A plot to kidnap the young son of a wealthy family is complicated by the arrival of a Black Mamba snake. The script is so retarded: a woman identifies herself to a cop as a doctor specializing in toxicology, and he responds with a straight face "Er, that's poisons, right?" I have no idea how they convinced this cast of quality actors to caper about pretending to be terrified of a rubber snake but it makes for some pretty hilarious viewing.

I don't know why this one is so badly regarded. Sure, it's very contrived - but whereas can you see Oliver Reed and Klaus Kinski squaring off as baddies who hate each other's guts? It's very well done, with a great cast.
