Summary: Pappan's (Innocent) eldest son Appukutta Menon aka Appu (Mammootty) had been the backbone of the successful business empire Leela group, but gets sidelined when his younger brother, London-educated Hari (Indrajith) who had an eye for profits rather than sentiments, applies multiple reforms in the firm. When business rival Sivan (Saikumar) tries to break apart Leela group using honey trap Veni Warrier (Sindhu Menon), leading to Hari killing Veni's accomplice in a scuffle, Appu takes the blame.
