Summary: Virumaandi (Kamal Hassan) lives a lighthearted lifestyle, never taking things very seriously. Kothala Thevar (Pasupathy), a big name in town, has set his sights on Virumaandi's property and wants it so badly that he'll hand over his own niece, Annalakshmi (Abhirami), in exchange for it. What Virumaandi doesn't realize is that Kothala is only using him to get back at his nemesis Nallamanaicker (Napolean), prompting a battle for honor and freedom. (Netflix)
