Summary: In the late nineteenth century, Ana Catarina, a young aristocrat, returns to Portugal, where his hand had been promised by his father, Don Antonio. But months later, Dona Ana Catarina loses her husband and father, inheriting the solar Silgueiros and hundreds more land under vine.
