I thoroughly enjoyed the story to this as I am fairly new to the world of Wallace and Gromit, except for the movie, but I really liked the sinister and action pack thrill that this actually had. I actually like the action in this compared to other action movies.

Another madcap, hilarious Wallace and Gromit adventure! Nothing new here (Wallace is again deluded, there is a sinister mystery, and a crazy final confrontation), but the execution is superb. Every joke connects, every bit of action is unexpected and looks great, and it's exciting the whole way through, courtesy of perfect pacing.

As charming and incredibly well done as always, but I don't remember so many movie references in past shorts [I counted Aliens, 1966 Batman, & Ghost] and I don't exactly like it. Also, a bit too romance heavy, even with Wallace being doubly hilarious when chivalrous.

While the quality of the production easily matches the performances of previous installments, somehow it feels a little seperated from the rest of the series. While all the numerous and often humourous film references are there coupled with the often subtle nods to previous moments in the W&G series, the plotline sometimes feels a little rushed and certain elements aren't fully developed upon. It might be partly to do with the constriction of a limited running time, but still good clean fun.

Another cracking adventure featuring W&G. It's a little predictable and doesn't bring much new to the table (the story is something of a cross between "The Wrong Trousers" and "A Close Shave") but as always, it's very entertaining, and expertly crafted. Loaded with the usual sight gags and references, including a terrific tribute to Aliens.

Not THE best W&G-movie but less will do! The title alone is classic stuff, and how great is it to have W&G back in the shorts where they belong? Love every little detail from the windmill to the "missing Penguin" sign at the Zoo... from the Citizen Kanine-poster on Gromits wall to the Ghost, Aliens and Batman The Movie ("Some days you just cant get rid of a bomb!") parodies! ... Park has done it yet again

An entertaining time, but when compared to the previous Wallace and Gromit entries, it feels conventional and a bit stale. The film started out well, but as it moved into its second act, it began to drag. That's probably because the plot was only so-so, and I was not enamored with the animation of Wallace's love interest--looked a bit sloppy at times.

Wallace and Gromit are almost at a disadvantage before I watch any of their films. I expect so much of them, that when I see something like 'A Matter of Loaf and Death', I get really disappointed. I know they're capable of so much better. The story here has been done before so many times that even an interpretation by Nick Park's characters can't make it that interesting. Still, the animation here is top notch. The chase, battle and morning wake-up sequences are excellent, but I expect better.
