Summary: Germany in the 70s. Léopold, a 50 year old businessman, meets Franz, who is 20. He invites him back to his place. A love affair begins. One day, something of little importance leads to a difference of opinion. And from this moment on, there's no such thing as "we" anymore. (imdb)

Though I wouldn't recommend this to anyone or even describe it as a good movie, there is something compelling about it all.

Love the feeling of Fassbinder's ghost haunting the film.

Watching Fassbinder as a director is a miserable experience for me. I feel drained every time. But with the Jeunetian colors, sarcasm and bitterness of Ozon's take on Fassbinder's look at human sexuality and relationships, it is something different. This is one of the movies that keeps coming back to me. Micro universes and their interaction is shot theatrically without a hunch. This is the darker, realistically playful and devastating face of sexuality in its fullest.

Francois Ozon is boring, Ludivine Sagnier's titties are nice. That is all.
