At first glance, this movie looks really bad but it truly delivers as a bonafide horror film! The sequel is even better!

This was fairly forgettable, though it was good to see the guy from Gremlins getting work.

I could write a 20 page essay about how completely horrid every single aspect of this film is. Putrid dialog, awful acting, a confused and inconsistent story, laughable music and sound effects, poor lighting, crappy visuals and makeup, etc, etc. Let me instead just sum it up with this fairly simple phrase: It's so bad, it's good. You can't help but be entertained by the utter ineptness on display at every turn.

I first saw this when I was about 5 or 6. It's what introduced me to horror films. I laugh whenever the grandpa's friend in the wheelchair screams: "Oh my goodness!" in that lame old man voice, then gets his head ripped off by the werewolf! BAHAHA!
