Surprisingly not as terrible as you would think, certainly not a good film by any means, but everyone seems to be having fun, there are definitely worse things you could watch.

The Haunting spoof is the highlight (thanks in no small part to man-god Bruce Campbell).

The various horror film scenarios they wander in and out of feel like especially dark comedy sketches. It's faithful to the horror genre, at least in style, but it never pretends it's scary. There's plenty of flaws, most of which probably stem from a small budget, but it's a fun movie that's still a late night favorite of mine.

The medieval segment really drags, but its mere presence - alongside Bruce Campbell - a year before Army of Darkness adds to the weird Evil Dead tribute band vibe.

Good cheesy fun. It's a little light on the horror, and more of a horror/fantasy spoof, but it is charming and silly. Don't forget to stay for the credits rap. Well, maybe not.

This flick is beyond stupid. It picks up right where the original left off, and features the protagonists travelling around in time for the whole movie, basically jumping in and out of different movie spoofs along the way. None of these come off as clever, and many of them go on for WAYY too long. The explanation about "God's Nintendo" was unbelievably lame. Only worth seeing for Bruce Campbell's cameo. Stick to the original.

I preferred the first Waxwork to this one, but it was still fun to see where they would end up!
