Just been playing Okami before I started watching this. It gave me the weirdest experience. I was expecting watersprouts and fireburst brushes happening any minute. The village could have come straight from the game. The movie itself is strange, but somehow I was intrigued to see it to the end.

As a war movie, it fails hard. As an entertaining film, it barely gets the job done. Just about every American actor in this was crap, and it seems like more and more Korean films are looking to Hollywood for inspiration, which is a shame. Wished the quirky girl Hye-jeong Kang plays was in this more.
