It's so bloody annoying it's like sunday school morals in a teen film. It doesn't get more rock-bottom than this!

This movie earns a single laugh for a single line: Nick Cannon appearing on-screen for literally one second to call a group of geeks "defectives" in his debut film role as "Chess Club Kid". Recommended only for die-hard fans of Marla Sokoloff!

Why did I watch this? Mindless teen romantic comedy.

The poster and DVD cover of this movie is pretty adept at giving you the gist of the flick. 2 good-looking guys and 2 attractive girls are in high school and looking for love. Expect fun, light-hearted, and teen-angsty surprises ahead. Except not really since it's the same basic story of Cyrano de Bergerac and it's a movie for teens. It's very predictable. And Shane West is not a very good actor.

Good fun, with two very fine females to gawk at. The "bad" characters are so much more colorful than the main characters, that the leads come off as not only nice people, but also boring people. Nor is there any real steam.
