Tremendous cast supporting a flimsy, but understandable premise. Describing this as a madcap romp would not be inappropriate.

This is definitely a wacky screwball 1960's comedy. It has a top notch cast. Not all the jokes work but I give this one a recommendation if you like old wacky comedies.

Just Peter O'Toole's respectable performance gave a bit of entertainment, the rest is poor.

O'Toole is great, as is the Bacharach music and the opening titles, and there are 2 or 3 good jokes. But a lot of the humor falls flat. Like many comedies of its era, it descends into madcap chaos at the end, hammering you with a rapid series of gags in the hopes that you won't have time to notice they aren't that funny. The whole swinging 60's thing is kind of fun, but it's also kind of embarassing. Somewhat entertaining, but given its pedigree it could have been much better.

Ok so it's very much of its time and its wild mad-cap and chaotic. It's not in any way serious and gives froth a sense of gravitas it doesn't deserve. BUT... It's meant to be and there are some funny moments and a brilliant score and opening sequence. Austin Powers took much from this.

A classic film I always wanted to see. Well, now I've done it. Peter Seller made some funny childish scenes (in the very beginning and the end) though he was not as successful as in his later films. Otherwise Pussycat is one of the most annoying Woody Allen scripts (too much pointless hassle) and it's aged badly.

with peter sellers and peter o'toole this movie has got some serious name power, it also introduced woody allen's first major role, and they all do well, woody allen and peter sellers both make this a much more entertaining movie. the problem is, that this movie just doesn't go anywhere, it just drags on with no plot development, only pretty girls. and it's been proven before that pretty girls can only get you so far, but they do get you somewhere.

Whoah. I actually liked this. The jokes weren't funny but...I don't know, it's kind of nice to watch an old film which isn't a masterpiece.
