Definitely worth to watch.... It's clever, funny, madcap, screwball, anyway a great comedy...I f you want my advice to get a real good time watching a comedy movie, take this one. I didn't laugh that much in a long time. Streisand is incredibly charming...

Peter Bogdanovich proves he's not Preston Sturges.

A love letter to the screwball comedy, and despite having a multitude of problems it succeeds in the one place that matters most, it's consistently funny.

Wow, Bogdanovich really shouldn't do comedy. There are maybe two laughs in the whole movie and it's annoyingly not half as clever as it thinks it is.

"There's nothing to see, really, we're inside a chinese dragon"

The screewball dialogue is mostly well written and the wackiness of the plot is funny enough. But the difficult thing in doing this kind of movie, I believe, is that it's very dependent on the actor's chemistry which Streisand and O'Neal lack. The biggest drawback is O'Neal who tries to do his best 'Cary Grant'. Unfortunately, only Cary Grant can do 'Cary Grant'.

Better than the real thing. Simply fun.

Fast, madcap and incredibly funny. The fun had during the making is infectious when you watch it and it doesn't deminish with repeat views. Incredible chase sequence, brilliant one liners and so madcap that its unreal. If you need a good laugh give this a go.

The ultimate madcap screwball comedy never misses a mark and never ceases to impress with gags, chases, or anything at all. A rare, raucous ride that gets even funnier the more you watch it.

much of the movie is like the chase sequences from scooby-doo, that not necessarily a bad thing. for the most part the acting is pretty good, but the overall feeling is a bit average.

Rather inept. Script features some terrible exchanges and gags--spoof or light-hearted takeoff or just...bad? I'd blame O'Neal, except I don't think anyone could have done a thing with that character. Sure, Streisand is fun--but it would be hard to miss with that character. The last half-hour is definitely the best part--with a zany chase and the courtroom scene (complete with pissed off judge). And of course one of the all-time best last lines ("That's the stupidest thing I ever heard").
