There's nothing to be learned here, and little to be entertained by. The film tries to suggest that there something magical about comedy in Boston, but provides no real evidence to convince an outsider. There are some big names but oddly it's more heavily focused on the struggling nobodies who aren't that funny. The director/narrator is himself a (failed) comedian from the scene, and he engages in a bit of awkward self-promotion. And during interviews, he cuts to his own boring reaction shots.
