Summary: Millie Stope lives with her grandfather on a remote Island off the Florida coast. Her grandfather fled there for political reasons. But they're not alone. An escaped prisoner, Nicholas, is terrorizing them, and further more, he's interested in Millie. John Woolfolk has lost his wife in an accident and tries to forget by sailing in his yacht. (imdb)

this is not vidor at the top of his game, the bad filtering definately brings a hamper to this, as well as the unfocused plot. the reinvisioned music could have been done much better. i do have to say it has some great action, but nothing that a number of directors couldn't have bettered even in 1924.
