Its refreshing to know that when Disney (not Pixar) wants to make a good movie they still can. I couldn't give this score higher than tier 8 because for adults its a little lacking. It did have enough charming nostalgia that it wasn't a complete bore. I don't think this really justified a theatrical release either. Though as far as kids movies go this is better than the majority of crap they try to force on the young ones.

A brief lark with these much-loved Disney characters, but done with so much postmodern wit that kids can’t be meant as the only audience - the traditional animation must resonate with people born well before Pixar took over and with just about everybody who enjoys a little drollness in their life.

An adorable, witty movie that has something to offer to all ages. The movie is beautiful with its hand-drawn animation and an amazing voice cast to boot keeps us interested in the three short stories that Winnie the Pooh tells. When it was over, I couldn't help but want more since it only lasts around 70 minutes.

Charming in its simplicity, but it's also not afraid to toy around with the medium. More clever than any of its animated contemporaries, the humor comes from character first and foremost. Pooh is downright hilarious. My one tiny quibble is that one or two characters sound too noticeably different than their original iconic voices, namely Piglet, but that could just be the nostalgia talking.

Seemingly immune to the decades' worth of ruthless innovation and increasing broadness in mainstream animation that's made cartoon buffs such unshakable cynics. There's no nostalgia or self-awareness here; only the pureness and confidence offered by respected tradition. The film is formulaic, but comforting in a way familiar faces and places can be, and I think that's the point. The new voices may rub some long-time fans the wrong way initially but they're well-cast and not jarring for long.

I thought this was way way way too short, but I was glad that Stephen J. Anderson and the gang were able to bring back one of my favorite parts of my childhood, Winnie the Pooh. It's well animated and could literally entertain everyone who watches, aside from the length.

It took me some time to get over the fact that it is nothing like Vinni Pux I grew up watching (people from ex-CCCP places will know what I am saying), but soon it won me over with great mentally sick characters and truly funny jokes. I didn't like the songs or voice acting of Vinnie the Pooh (why the fuck Vinnie sounds like old pedophile?). Animation is much better than all that popular CGI crap.

Lighthearted 2D animation the way it was first imagined, Winnie the Pooh delves into the origin of the Pooh characters with a simple and cute adaptation of several of Milne's earliest stories. Despite its incredibly brief length, Pooh packs enough substance to lend credence to nearly every frame.

Winnie the Pooh offers a few genuine gems of comedy that can be enjoyed by all ages. However the majority of the film is simply lacklustre and doesn't compare to the original film. Pooh's seemingly self-aware stomach is more creepy than cute and there are far too many songs in this for my liking. Even so, as I mentioned, there are some gems in here so it's worth watching once for one more go down memory lane.

You know, I didn't expect it to be a 88... it's Pooh so I figured it'd be worth it, but I won't even front, I was smiling a lot during this. You know what to expect, and it does it really well. Pooh made me laugh on numerous occasions. "Oh I don't remember thinking this through," was probably the biggest laugh for me. The movie is so gentle, so charming, so cute, with animation that's alive. The only issue is the length but at least you get a lot of bang in a short period of time.

With the (returning?) animation talents of Mark Henn and Andreas Deja, Winnie the Pooh is animated far more beautifully and expressively than any prior version. It's well-written too. But at just a hair over an hour long, I can't help but feel a bit cheated. I know young kids are the prime target but even they can usually do an 80 minute movie. C'mon, Disney, you cheaped out on the runtime.

The teat of Disney's cash cow has been milked until it bled in recent years with some truly diabolical results, but this is something of return to the gentle charm of the original short films, under the nostalgic eye of John Lasseter. Great for very little kids.

Where everyone is trying to innovate as much as possible, we get a perfect example of how old school animation making can be far more charming than most up to date attempts. Winnie the Pooh is charming, funny, sweet and a perfect childrens movie. I loved every second of it!

I know I'm not the target demographic, but this was really predictable. It really just felt like a long TV episode (and not that long, at a 60 minute run time). It seems they would have picked something bigger for the movie, but I guess not. There is really nothing you can take away from this as an adult. Kids movie through and through, which means boring for anyone above the age of 10.

My Thoughts: "The film is simply sweet, cute, funny, and charming. My niece's and nephew's loved the movie. I loved it as well. I have been such a huge fan of Winnie the Pooh ever since I was very young. I had many Winnie the Pooh toys growing up. I love all the films and the cartoon. It's a classic that never grows old. It's a film for all who love the Hundred Acre Woods."

Too many songs, too many "oh look we're in a book" gags, too much stomach-rumbling... I mean, it's not a pain to watch, and the kids will probably love it, but I've seen Pooh much better than this. For some reason Zooey Deschanel has been involved in almost all the music and it's neither very impressive or unimpressive. Also, too short, and the plot still doesn't feel like it fills the bizarrely brief running time.
