A bit too sentimental and lacks the real punch of a Jean-Xavier de Lestrade or Errol Morris documentary however it definitely hits home on it's issues with the American judicial system. It's pretty much impossible to not be infuriated at the subject matter as not only are innocent people sent to jail but families are torn apart and separate to allow local political figures to seem far more impressive.

Kafkaesque seems an understatement. "Witch Hunt" highlights the obvious problems of a American judicial system, where there seems to be as focus on career progression and conviction rates as on actually delving out justice. It's a trenchant insight into the perhaps most basic of human instincts: Fear. Or as Monty Python would put it: "What else burns? More witches!"

Quality doc that highlights some of the problems inherent in the American legal system, namely the frightening, Kafkaesque power held by the courts and law enforcement.

Not quite as good as the similar Capturing the Friedmans; a bit too over-reliant on sentiment and music. But, the DA is certainly a villain in every sense of the word.

One of the most courageous documentaries that I've seen in a long time. I have known several people who have been railroaded by the system and this exact same thing happen, right down to what was done to the children. The prosecutors, police officers and social workers who caused all this false damage to make themselves look good, deserve the punishment that these victims received.
