The Hollywood Reporter described this as: "Conan the Barbarian"/"Lord of the Rings", this is accurate in all connotations: Bad Acting, Epic Landscapes, Over-the-Top Action Sequences, it certainly has both it's merits and downfalls. For someone who likes the medieval genre I wouldn't say a must but it certainly isn't bad.

This is pretty much a remake of Conan (boy sees his clan wiped out by an evil priest, grows up a slave, becomes a great warrior, exacts revenge upon the evil priest while rescuing the daughter of a local king) in Russian with more dirt and CGI. This is a great fantasy action flick, and while the CGI doesn't compare to something like LOTR, it still looks very good and not fake or cheesy. It's no Conan, but man it's totally worth checking out.
