Summary: A group of people find themselves trapped in the backwoods of West Virginia, fighting for their lives against a group of vicious and horribly disfigured inbred cannibals. (imdb)
Horrible makeup this time. Still the horror aspect was good and I loved the setting with the cops and criminals. Also ... damn, cant get enough of the beginning of this movie ;)
All I can remember was horrible acting, script and direct. Was it this flick where an arrow penetrated through silicon into an eye? Or maybe it was a hand, who cares?
This is somewhat of a good film, but a disappointing sequel to the first two Wrong Turn films, both of which were amazing. This film's biggest problem were the unlikable characters you actually enjoyed watching die, and the fact that there was only one hillbilly. It has its moments but they are overshadowed by over-the-top death scenes and not to mention a terrible finale. I'm sure Horror fans will appreciate all the gore, but this could have been a great addition to the series, and it wasn't.
It's trying to be innovative in it's genre, but I'm afraid it's not. It's quite funny though and above all, entertaining and filled with action and detail!
There's a word invented, that perfectly fits to describe this film - incredibad! I enjoy watching bad movies, but this one is so humorlessly terrible, it's almost nauseating. Remember those old Hollywood movies, in the scenes when someone is driving a car outside is clearly an insert? In 2009 WT3 brings that back in most serious manner. Avoid!
This was so laughably bad as me and my cousin were ju7st laughing all the way through out this movie. Some of the acting was ok, but some was just atrocious. I did like the cop going for the money though, that was probably the most realistic thing about this movie. This was just not a movie to take seriously.
When you cast a film, please make sure the actors are capable of pulling off the accents they should have. For example, casting an Ensligh-born Turk as a Hispanic gang leader? Maybe not a good move. Half of the other English men and women barely conceal their normal voices as they attempt American accents as well. Throw in some really laughable make-up effects and you have an embarrassing third installment in the Wrong Turn series.
A disapponting sequel to the first and second films, both of which I just loved, but I didn't have high hopes for this one anyway so I'm not surprised. There was way too much time spent on the prisoners and not enough time on the 'Mountain Man'. The characters were very unlikeable so you didnt' really mind when some of them died. Reasonable storyline but the deaths were over the top, but Horror fans will get their kicks out of it, but fans of the first two will be left disappointed.
