Hong Kong Cat III thriller starring Anthony Wong as a trucker whose wife is tricked into borrowing money from the local Triad, who then destroy his family over the debt. Ultimately, Wong mans up and takes on the Triad in a bloody fight to the death, with the help of his next door neighbor (an ex-serial killer!). Typical sex and violence, it takes a while to get to the good stuff (ie Wong going nuts), and has some bad overacting, but the payoff is enjoyably visceral.

Two heroes of Hong Kong CatIII - Bunman and Dr. Lamb meets in this film, written by master of trash Jing Wong. It is everything you can hope for, with the only complaint being film's unevenness. It's a mix of violence, sex and black comedy, but you get a streak of either one, not everything at once. So beginning is too comic, and ending too violent, if so to say. It doesn't live up to the classics of the genre, but Anthony Wong alone makes it worthwhile. If you know what you're getting into.
