Summary: "Young People Fucking" is a smart and fast-paced comedy that intertwines the stories of 5 couples over the course of one sexual encounter. As the couples attempt to have some seemingly straight forward sex, they run into all sorts of problems.
5 relationships at various stages. All situations from weird to emotional to romantic to sexy to wtf. Interesting, funny. Acting is mixed, with some good performances together with few amateurish attempts. Altogether an enjoyable piece of work that is not too intelligent or too good.
This movie has a simple but effective premise. There are some laughs and some interesting couples and characters. It is more about relationships as opposed to sex.
Sweet, sensual, sexual and very real. Real problems between couples regarding their sex life and the way they deal with it. From the player to the exes, beautiful!
A genuinely good comedy that suffers from its structure. For me, watching "The Exes" go at it was excruciatingly boring especially when I knew that "The Roommates" or "The Couple" storyline was coming up next. It's absolutely worth watching because, despite the flaws, it's a hilarious movie in some parts. I just wish it could have been more even... Oh, and the characters are well designed. Forgot to mention that.
Do not expect tears, do not expect a lot of laugh. This is the kind of documenting-in-funny-way film. If you like American pie and 500 days of summer, you will probably enjoy this film too. Not some super film, but definitely worth watching
A great little independent movie. It manages to pull off an interesting structure without feeling gimmicky, and while it's hard to deny that some of the relationships are far more interesting than others (the exes, for example, are the absolute standout moment of the film), there's enough of a balance between genuine feeling and smart comedy to make this worth a watch for anyone.
