Why am I the first to review this? It's Frank Sinatra and Doris Day! But yeah, this was serviceable. The music is about as great as you'd expect something involving Sinatra to be but the film itself is hit and miss. The first half is nice and charming to an extent, with decent acting from all involved, but when the events of the second half unfold, we're still expected to care about these characters. The hospital scene might have been heartbreaking if I'd actually cared for these people.
