Summary: At the behest of the Supreme Court Chief Justice (Somayajulu J.V.), Akila IPS (Vijayshanti), a CBI officer is investigating the case of Siddartha (Suresh Gopi), ex-leader of the student wing of the People's Party, who is accused & jailed for the murder of Mahila Morcha leader Ambika (Geetha). Siddartha breaks out of Akila's custody, regroups with his old party friends, & starts a guerrilla war against the people who framed him, chief of them being the People's Party leader J.K. (Mani C. In 1991, Vijayshanti set the box-office on fire, with her role as the fiery IPS officer, in the Telugu movie 'Karthavyam', who bashed up muscular men twice her size, with ease. So Bhadran thought - why not bring her over to Malayalam, and have her join forces with Suresh Gopi, who is already playing similar stupid action roles, and cash in on that? The end result is 'Yuvathurkki' (i.e. 'The Young Turk' - how the heck does a Malayali become a Turk anyway?), a boring, horrible excuse for a movie.
