Seth is pretty funny, the bit with the van was kinda unnecessary

Some great moments but I I think I have to admit that Galifianakis' humour just isn't for me. While others appear to be seeing some tremendously hilarious material I see someone getting progressively drunker and more nonsensical. Fake brother Seth sections were pretty funny though.

His stand up was probably some of the worst I've ever seen. His sit down comedy was brilliant. We'll split the difference with this score. SIT DOWN AND STAY DOWN ZACH. You are a comedic actor and one of the funnier ones around right now.

I thought almost all of the stand up was completely hilarious (particularly his outbursts). I was really bugged by a couple things though. First cutting in the stuff with his 'twin' and the stuff with him and his friend. While it was funny, it broke the energy and feel from the stand up, which is a shame because he has such a unique energy on stage. I also was bugged by the stupid camera stuff, it provided a couple hilarious close ups when he interacted with the camera, but overall detracted.

Not bad but I honestly would have preferred a straight up standup set. The non standup stuff isn't that funny and the constant cutting away from the set really just makes me feel like I'm missing huge chunks of stuff.

He's done better.

Overall this shows why Zach is so funny. He has a lot of different material in here and you get to see inside his creative process. However, and this says more about the one-liner style of comedy, some of the bits especially as the set wears on didn't land. The last bit he did was just not funny. His material (like most one-liner comedians) starts off funny, but then its like you get numb to the ironic statements and it just seems formulaic and boring.

One of my favorite comedians. Not all his material works, but even the bad jokes are delivered in such and odd manner, I still chuckle.

Tied with Louis CK as funniest man working today. It's about time this guy got some respect his way.

Predates The Hangover by a few years, but shows the promise Galifianakis has as a comedian. Also recommend Wonder Showzen for demented hilarity featuring Galifianakis at his best.

Some of Galifianakis's one-liners -- most of them, in fact -- are drop-down hilarious, but the intrusive structure of the Seth sections is a pain (even though there are a few laughs to be had here too). All told, it's for fans of a very specific type of humour, and won't appeal to everyone.

He has presence and I believe he can actually be funny (the Seth-bits were occasionally hilarious), but this was, on the whole, not very funny. Which might have something to do with my not being a huge fan of one-liner/pure punchline stand-up, to be fair.

Seems like he's trying waaaaaay too hard. The twin thing was pretty hilarious though.
