Its surprising how close this mainstream Indian film was to an American Grindhouse movie - a cop on the edge, brutal violence, the roughness of the presentation, even the less-than-desired quality of the print I watched. Its far from perfect, especially the roughhouse quality of the fight scenes, but I found immense enjoyment in a film which never trips up in delivering a good genre film, especially one which at times, such as a certain scene which uses rapid-cut editing, shines even more.
