Zapruder's on a low budget and it shows. The camera technique is absolutely awful and really I couldn't relate to any of the characters; even the part where (SPOILERS) Kennedy is killed is far too sappy for it's own good. And the Kennedy Doctrine wasn't even addressed, talk about bias righ-- What? It's not a... wha? like a... well that makes sense. then why is it on criticker anyway? wtf lol

Just took my PSI for ranking it, because a historical piece of film like this being of utterly importance is just unrankable.

The characters are underdeveloped, the editing is terrible, and Zapruder's directing is blatantly amateurish, but one can't help but be moved by Zapruder's ambition. Zapruder films this movie in only one take and kills off the main character halfway through the movie's run, creating a refreshing and original experience. The shakiness of the camera just lends the movie a more gritty realism to its moving message of American society.

Why does this film keep appearing on various film databases? It's a fascinating piece of history, but it is nothing more than a home movie.

This is not a documentary. This is not a film either. It is just a home movie that shows (by chance of course) the assassination of JFK. And, naturally, the film's significance is only historical.

Haven't laughed this hard at finding a film on Criticker since I found that "Let's All Go to the Lobby" short.

Along with the moon landing, Hiroshima, 911 and OJ's Bronco, this is a truly historical piece of film.

486 of the most pored over frames in history. I wish this never surfaced, if only to deprive conspiracy wackjobs of something to drool over. As others have said, rank is null.
